First Day Back to School

 Well, here we were off to a grand start when the boys' bus was almost an hour late, LOL!! Poor Colin's first year in highschool and he was late on the first day! We are trying to get one of his classes changed, as it was a third choice for him and he really doesn't want it. When I called the guidance counsellor today she thought they might be able to do something with it, so he is going to see her in the morning. He just has a hard enough time with school work, paying attention and such, that for him to sit in a class and really not want to be there, wouldn't be constructive for anyone involved.

 

The are both going to tryouts tomorrow after school, one for band and the other for soccer.

 

The two little ones made out just fine. Hannah was a little dissappointed that all of her girlfriends from last year weren't in her class this year, because they were in a split last year and have all gone on to grade 1 this year, leaving her in senior kindergarten by herself. She did tell me that she made a new friend today though at recess, though she didn't know her name yet, LOL.

 

It turns out that Colton is sharing a class with one of our friends sons this year. They have played together over the summer and get along great. Him and his sister are actually coming here for Saturday so the big boys can babysit all of them while us grown-ups go on a horse tour!!
