It was way too hot in that school gym....wow!
We were very happy when they announced Colin's name for the music award!!!!
Woohoo!! He got a 97 grade in that class and worked very hard to achieve it, so I'm so glad he was rewarded for his efforts.
When he went to school yesterday, the music teacher gave him a mug with a tuba on it, lol, cuz she was sure he was going to win

After the ceremony we met his girlfriend, and had treats (strawberries and ice cream too) and then left the kids to their dance. Colin walked his girlfriend home afterward and then I picked him and a few of his friends up and took them all home.
I have to say that it is very strange the first time you see you son holding hands with another woman!!
