Lunar Eclipse

Here the moon will be totally covered by the shadow

of the earth at about 10:30 and the moon will

resemble a glowing pumpkin.

 

Check out your local news forecasts to find out the

time in your neck of the woods!!

 

The next one won't happen till March of 2007.

LATER...

would you believe that I have 4 children in the school system and not one of them came home and knew anything about the lunar eclipse tonite!!

 

You  would think that a natural phenomenon like this would be certain topic for discussion in a classroom no matter what the age of the child!!

LATER...Well, I know I should be getting to bed right now...but I took a look and there's only a smidgen left of the moon up there before the whole thing is gone so here I sit waiting to see the ring
