Cody's Grad PIcs

 What a long, hot nite...I really wasn't pleased with the arena we were in. The hockey arena...we were all sitting on the cement bleachers in our semi-formal wear, lol...and they didn't even have the courtesy to take down the net that now covers the area between the ceiling and the top of the glass so that pucks don't hit anyone in the crowd.....you had to look through it!!! or try anyway!

And who ever heard of a grad nite with no hats to toss in the air????? We all stood up clapping to congratulate the grads once all the names were read and the diplomas were handed out and I was just missing the hats flying through the air

Doing Hay

 We've been busy doing hay for the last two days...

so much for my days off eh? lol

And of course it would have to be the two hottest days of the year here...wow....I am soooo glad that I picked up a small air conditioner on the way home from work on Monday 

Tonite, we go to Cody's grad...the weather is not quite as warm today so I'm hoping it won't be too stifling in the auditorium 

End of Year School Trips

 Hannah had her end of the year trip to the park today. Colton got to go on two trips....one to a medieval theme park last week and next week they are going to a local zoo and then a pioneer village.

Cody has planned a trip to Montreal with 14 of his friends. They already have their hotel booked and will be taking the subway to get around town. They had so much fun going there with the school a month ago that they all decided this would be a good trip to celebrate their grad  Also in Montreal you can drink when you're 18 instead of 19 lol

Cody's Last Day of High School

 Today was his last full day of Grade 12....he is studying for exams right now, but they only have one a day for the next four days.....I can't believe it!!

 

He's not too sure yet what he plans on doing for college...but he says him and his friends have been talking about where to go together.

 

The little kids have two weeks left...they get out on the 28.
