The Puppies are Leaving

 Here they are now....one left today with his new family...this little black boy.

Here's the little girl,she is going to a friend at work,

one of the nurses...Anneke...her name is now Sadie 



And Hannah with the little red boy, just like his daddy

My Car Froze Up :(

 I got up this morning to -25 temps and went out to warm up the car...and it started up right away.....I'm thinking boy this is a great old car, lol...it always starts in the cold....

 

 

....but....I didn't factor in the windchill last nite and when I went back out to leave, there was no heat and the temp gage read almost to the high red!

 

We tried to warm it up and then shut it off and hope the motor warmed up the rad enough to go, but to no avail. I called work to let them know...and boy do I feel guilty!! I just called last week because of the ice storm!

 

Anyway, we still can't get it going and have no heated garage to put it in. I think my son may be going out with a dryer later because he had wanted to take it tonite to drive some friends to the city for Wing nite!

 

I hate feeling stranded!!

 

Mike got a ride in to town with a neighbour and he's picking up our high speed supplies and some milk and bread cuz we were out of that too, lol.

 

Did everyone hear about the ice falling from the CN tower so they had to close the major highway there?! Wow!! big sheets falling down!

 

I am soooooooooooooooo ready for spring!!

We've Got HighSpeed

 Finally!!

 

Well, it's coming in the wall anyway, lol!

My gramma gave us some $ for Christmas so we
finally splurged and used it to pay for the hook-up
fees...which were over $150!

 

They came yesterday to see if they could get a clear

sight through from our tv antenna to their tower...

and thank goodness they got a great signal.

Sooooo...they got it all hooked up and then when he

went to plug it in to the back of our computer...

there was no ethernet outlet!!

 

So I will be stopping today (if Mike gets back with

the car in time) or tomorrow on the way home to get

a Nic card to install (which my son can probably do)

and to get some ethernet cable to reach from the

site where it comes in to the house to where our

computer sits

 

Hopefully everything will go fine with that

I can't wait!
