Gas Prices!!

 They were $1.04 today on my way home from work....holy crap!!

The Day After

 When I got to work this morning, who should I see but her, and I had spent the drive to work all alone thinking about what had happened and was all worked up again, so when she said Good Morning, I couldn't even speak to say it back, and she said it twice! I know that sounds childish but I had many things that I wanted to say to her and Good Morning just wasn't one of them, so I thought I had better hold my tongue till there was a time and place to talk.

 

Anyway, when I finally confronted her, she had no idea what I was talking about and said she never said the things she did. So she was basically calling my supervisor a liar now Then she went on to say things that our boss had said (about shift routines and such), that weren't true either! I verified this! This is exactly what I expected from her, as she went the same road last time She said it was other girls doing the talking, yada, yada, yada.....

 

I want to believe her but I know how she is and I've heard her talking about many other girls there, usually girls that won't kiss her butt like she thinks everyone should!

 

I feel much better about it now though, that I've told her my piece and we will just go on and be civil like we usually do I told my hubby what happened and he knows that we have never really gotten along, but he tends to keep quiet about it. I don't go into specific detail, because after all it is his sister right?

Crappy Day at Work :(

 I had one of those crappy days at work today

And I think I brought it on myself,

because yesterday I was joking with a few friends

there that I was having a great day because I

had pi$$ed off my SIL (yep, I work with her)

She likes to tell people what to do, and

it's usually her way or she gets mad.

She's a bully at work if she can get away

with it (and she usually does because no one wants

to bring on her wraith!)

No matter what she does though,

she comes up smelling like roses

Well, I think the bad karma came back and bit

me in the butt.

Seems she was spreading lies about me,

saying I said things that I didn't say,

(we've had it out about this before, as I caught

her lying about something I said, and she was

surprised when I confronted her!)

Trouble is, why would everyone believe her

when they know what she's like??

Anyway the nurse said something mean at a morning

meeting and was specifically implying me,

and it was unjust and uncalled for

and based on this lie!

Thank goodness my supervisor spoke up and told

her so! And so did I after the meeting

I haven't confronted my SIL yet,

because I was really afraid that I would say

something that I'll regret.

I felt so bad all day that I couldn't even speak about

it to my friends without crying

and that made me all the more angry that

I let her get me riled up like that

Sorry for the downer ladies,

but I feel a little better getting it off my chest at least

I'd appreciate a thought or two for me

tomorrow, as I have to work with her again

and I will be trying so hard not to lose it

I hope everyone has a good nite

This Wil Never Happen Again!

 On Wednesday, at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in the morning, the time and date will be

01:02:03 04/05/06.

That won't ever happen again.....cool eh?

My flat Tire

 Drat!!!

I left here yesterday after chatting with Karin, to go and pick up Colin from band practice and Hannah and I got a bit down the road and there was a noise coming from the back that shouldn't have been! I stopped and my tire was dead flat!!

Back we went and Mike took it off for me when he got home. Unfortunately, living in a small town has some drawbacks and there was no garage open that could fix it after 5 so I am playing hooky today and I just got back from getting a new tire put on. $90 later

Wierd thing is, I got there just after noon, and they couldn't do the work till 1 cuz all the machanics were gone for lunch so I scooted to the grocery store next door and did some shopping while I had to wait.
