Planting Early Pansies

 Okay gotta tell you all about our pansy episode this morning, lol!!

 

I came home from shopping and had my one hand full of grocery bags and in the other hand was two containers of pansies. I didn't have a hand left to open the door with so I told Hannah that I was gonna sit them on her little table and they would be safe there, "Right??" I said to her. She assured me they would be fine there and she stayed outside to play for awhile.

 

Well, you all know what happened next don't ya??lol In she comes with four pansy flowers in her hand. I said 'Oh Hannah, I thought you told me they would be safe out there!!' and she says 'Yeah, but I brought the flowers in so they would be safe in here!' lol

 

Oh dear, I had spent much time picking out the two trays that had the most flowers because I was going to pot them in a nice pot I bought yesterday and they were to be one of the shower party gifts, lol!! Now they have no flowers left on them!!

Thursday

 Well Thursday was not so bad!

 

I did have a bit of a kerfuffle at work with management about them denying me a lieu day and yet letting others do the same thing they wouldn't let me do. Still trying to get that one straightened out. We've got new management there and new union reps and everyone seems to be butting heads about now!

 

I did more shopping on the way home, the babysitter thought I got lost, LOL!! Once I get wandering around in the stores I seem to forget about the time I got alot accomplished though and I think I have most of the stuff I need for the shower.

 

Just trying to get a few minutes here before the boys get the hay off the back of the truck. We are on our way down the road to get some of Hannah's summer toys out of the garage (her slide, car and playhouse) because it's supposed to be gorgeous again here tomorrow.

 

Gotta get it done though because soon it's Survivor time!!! Can't wait!!

New Brakelines

 Good Afternoon Everyone!

 

Been a busy day here and hubby is home sick. Hannah fell asleep on my lap while we watched the Sharon Osbourne show after lunch and I'm catchin' a few minutes here before our mechanic is done fixin'

my van in the driveway.

 

Had to drop off Colin at the school early this morning so he could

go spend the day about an hour from here playing chess with other

chess club members from the area. I hope he does well as he was really looking forward to it! After I dropped him off I picked up

the parts needed to fix my brake line in the van and thank

goodness the sun came out so he could get it fixed before I go

back to work tomorrow.

 

Also picked up some things for the baby shower this weekend.

Mimi...I don't know how you do this all the time girl!! lol I'm so afraid that I will forget something and I've got stuff all over the place, trying to get as much ready as I can before hand. I will be

making a baby block cake which takes up alot of time too. I am having

one heck of a time finding diaper pins anywhere...sheesh...I really

hope I can find some tomorrow when I stop on my way home from work. We don't have too many stores to choose from around here so

I stop when I'm closer to city on my way home.

 

I hope you're feeling better soon Shannon. I hate being sick and I sure hope I don't catch what seems to be going around here again!

Mike is sick today with tummy troubles and yesterday Colton stayed home from school with the same thing. Cody still isn't feeling good and has been having headaches, and I'm really thinking that I need

to take him in and get his eyes checked. I went through the exact same thing at his age when I was in Grade 9 and I couldn't see the

chalkboard anymore...yep, time to get glasses it was.

Hannah's New Outfit

 Hannah and I went shopping today and of course we came home with a new outfit for her, lol!! It's so hard to resist all those pretty clothes after having 3 boys!! 

 

Anyway we were barely in the door and she was already modeling it even though it really is for warmer weather. The little purse matches the design on the bottom of her jeans. She was so happy to have it on, I just thought I'd share it with you all

Sick Here

 We are sick here at my house.

Feel nauseous all the time and got the runs too (I know T.M.I. right??) It's just kinda wierd how fast it came on.

 

This morning Hannah and I got to attend a play at the theatre in

the city with Colton' class. I drove and took Colton with me and we met

his class there. It was six of the Robert Munsch stories and the

kids loved it!! It was pretty well done.

 

Well I felt so sick that I didn't even stop to shop!! I mean, I only

get there once in a blue moon and I had hundreds of stores at

my disposal and I couldn't even think of shopping!! Man, I gotta be

sick, lol!! When we got home at 12:45 I went to bed and slept right

through till the kids got home from school at 4. Wow!

 

Anyway I'll be back later on, because I'm not supposed to be here

in the first place The kids are taking part in 'Turn off the T.V.' week

and we have at least been leaving it off for the two hours as soon as

they get home from school. That includes no computers or video

games, heehee!! Just wanted to let you all know what I've been

up to.
